Email Your Clients: Dealing with the financial impact of tragedies

Client Email Client Email

Here’s some sample wording you can use in an email to help prepare clients for possible financial tragedies.

Dear NAME,

I hope you’ve been doing well since our last meeting. As we discussed then, your hard work and diligent saving means your financial plans are on track, but there’s more we can do to ensure they stay that way.

As part of my commitment to you, I have plans we can put into place to protect you should you fall ill, lose your job, or encounter any of life’s other rough patches.

We need to make these decisions together, so I’d like to schedule another meeting with you in the next couple of weeks to review your options.

Hopefully, these are plans you’ll never need. Nevertheless, planning for them today will ease the burden should tough times come to pass. I want you to know I’m here for you, and if you are open to this discussion, I look forward to meeting with you.

Best regards,
